Equip

Christ himself gave apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to equip his people for works of service so that the body of Christ may be built up. Ephesians 4:11-12

At Lifechurch, Bedworth we seek to not only equip but encourage and develop those who feel God is calling them to leadership of groups, activities and ministries within the church or who seek to be effective leaders in other aspects of their life e.g. family, work. Hence, the establishment of this 2 year Bible and Leadership Course.

Aims of the Course

The aim of the course is to deepen students’ knowledge and understanding of the Word of God and the beliefs and principles of the church (Year 1). It also seeks to equip students to become effective leaders within their own homes, workplace and the church (Year 2).

Expectations of Students

• Attendance at weekly sessions (10 per term) in person, online or through session catchup (available on this site)
• Complete a reflective journal each term
• Read materials on the termly reading list
• Payment of £120 per term (various payment schemes are available and financial assistance if required)

Course Sessions

These will take place on a Thursday evening from 19:30 to 21:30. Sessions will have input from individuals who are known to be gifted in the areas of ministry mentioned in Ephesians 4:11 and Q&A sessions or small group discussion. There will be 10 of these per term with a week’s break corresponding with local schools’ half term.
